In May 2017, MealFour co-founders were awarded the inaugural Michelle Obama Alumni Community Impact Award from the University of Chicago Community Service Center. The award honors "extraordinary commitment of alumnus who has made a positive community impact in society by addressing a systemic social issue in a collaborative manner and by effectively leveraging community assets".
